Lamborghini Diablo is a sports car with high performance engine built by the Lamborghini factory in Italy between 1990 and 2001. The first Lamborghini capable of reaching a top speed of over 200 miles per hour (320 km / h). After the end of the production run in 2001, the Diablo was replaced by the Lamborghini Murcielago.

At the time the company was still financed by Switzerland, Lamborghini began development under the code name Project 132 in June 1985 as a replacement for the Countach models. Briefly stated that the top speed should be at least 315 km / h (196 mph).
