Detroit - Volkswagen (VW) will auction the first series of e-Golf in the United States. VW will cooperate with Global Green to auction off the latest electric car.
Leftlanenews confirmed, the winning bidder will be the owner of the e-Golf car. VW also revealed plans to sell this car to market from the end of 2014. Later, the results of these car auctions will be donated to organizations that care about the environment.

"We are very pleased to mark the launch of our first electric car by way of auction. This is to raise funds and awareness for the breakthrough of Global Green USA," said Michael Hord, VW boss America.
VW e-Golf powered battery capacity of 24.2 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that produces 115 horsepower. This car can go as far as 70-90 miles in a charge.
